Every Sunday evening, without fail, Hubby will call his mum. This time my MIL sounded very sad. According to her, my SIL will be going for a major surgery on Wednesday as doctor has found cysts in her womb. Hubby assured my MIL that his sister will be fine as it’s a common operation. Hubby didn’t get to talk to his sister as she was already asleep.
Yesterday I reminded hubby to call my SIL to console her. This time the actual news hit us… She does not have cysts. She has a tumor in her abdomen. Its 8cm x 7cm x 5 cm. Hubby was speechless. After talking to her, hubby told me how lousy he is at consoling people. He was upset so I told him that I would call her in the morning to talk to her.
I called her earlier. Told her that we will pray for her and that everything is gonna be fine. At the end of our conversation, I broke down. I just could not talk anymore. I am so lousy at controlling my emotions!!!
Sis, be strong ok. We will pray for you. Your family will pray for you.
We love you, sis. And looking forward to see you in July!
