Fun Time!

We had a great weekend. On Saturday, we went to Khaleel Restaurant (near Gurney Hotel) to have breakfast. I had chapatti, hubby had thosei, kids had roti prata and my maid had nasi lemak.

After that we went to Coffee Beans to relax, have coffee and let the kids run around. Amirul had his first taste of coffee. His first coffee that cost RM11.00 was Caramel Latte. I have never allowed my kids to drink coffee but this hubby of mine broke the rule that day. Well…he wanted Amirul to experience it. He told Amirul that his next expensive coffee would be from his own pocket money.
Hahah.

In the afternoon, I went to the saloon for hair rebonding… I can’t stand my curls. I wanted to trim my hair short and do a rebonding but hubby didn’t allow me to. You can do a rebonding and trim your hair to shoulder length… Period. That what he told me. Aarrghhh... Whatever! Anyway, my butt hurts for sitting 4 hours long . The outcome of my hair rebonding.... ok lah. Not bad. To me at least. Hubby like it too..

In the evening, we went to Ferringhi to collect his pants at the tailor. Unfortunately, they needed to be altered on the waist as hubby has lost a bit of weight on that area. So we will be collecting the pants tonight. Huh! We had our dinner at the same food court as last week and hubby ordered our favourite food!

On Sunday, we went to the clinic to get medication for Azirul and myself before going for our usual brunch. My breast pain is getting very intense lately. I could hardly sleep peacefully. I also had slight sore throat. On the way to the clinic, I suggested going to Telok Bahang Dam to watch the Dragon Boat Race. They were also an International Food Fair there. We decided not to have our brunch at the usual place. After collecting our medicine, we drove up to Telok Bahang and went looking for places to eat. Driving past the kampong, we saw this nice and clean stall. We decided to give it a try.

The foods were delicious. I just don’t know how to describe them. We didn’t regret giving up our usual brunch for this new makan place we found. We will be going up there again before we leave for Singapore. Must! Must! Must! Sorry people... no pictures. As you know, when I see food, I've got no time to take photos.

After a nice brunch, we drove past the Telok Bahang Dam and caught a glimpse of the event. But we must first get our…. DURIAN!!! Its about 3 minutes drive from the dam. Woohhhooo… Did I say I had slight sore throat?? Sore throat aside.. These come first… (drool people... drool....)

Then we went back to the dam to watch the Dragon Boat but we didn’t bother to go to the International Food Fair area. We had enough food already. Heheh..

On our way back, hubby stopped at Ferringhi beach. Yes, our kids have never got to play near the water. I’m glad they enjoyed themselves immensely. We didn’t stay for too long. It was a very hot day. (nanti hitam anak aku). Hehe

We got home at 1.30pm. Just nice a time to put my baby to sleep. Hubby went out to run some errands and me.... l fell asleep… heheh.. too tired.

This time, we had an early dinner at home. It was a simple dinner. Just porridge, ikan bilis, kacang goreng, ikan cencaru sumbat, fried preserved chai sim, egg omellete, fried veggie and taukwa. Simple right?

After dinner, hubby suggested we go out for a while. Actually I didn’t feel like going out. But dear hubby misses spending time with me, alone. The last time we went out together was last Saturday. Eheh. We went window shopping at Gurney Plaza. In spite of my hesitation to go out earlier, I must say that I enjoy my dearest hubby company. I always do.

Ok people… enough about my weekend.

Here’s a little something to share……

Someone will always be prettier.
Some will always be smarter.
Some of their houses will be bigger.
Some will drive a better car.
Their children will do better in school.
And their husband will fix more things around the house.

So let it go,
and love you and your circumstances.

Think about it!

The prettiest woman in the world can have hell in her heart.
And the most highly favored woman on your job may be unable to have children.
And the richest woman you know,
she's got the car, the house, the clothes.... might be lonely.

And the word says, "If I have not Love, I am nothing."
So, again, love you.
Love who you are.
Look in the mirror in the morning and smile and say,

"I am too blessed to be stressed and too anointed, to be disappointed!"

"Winners make things happen--
Losers let things happen."
