How do we classify our friends as good friend and best friend? Some says Best Friend stay in our heart forever. Good friend are those that hop in and out in our heart for several of times, reasons, situations and occasions. Some says Best friend is more than a good friend. A best friend would be someone that you trust and care about while a good friend is just a friend that you do things with.
I used to know someone whom I regarded as a friend. One day, she saw my best friend visiting me at my working place. She told me how sad she was as she does not have anyone to call them best Friend or Good Friend, in fact no one to call a friend. Well… at that time I thought she was being too touchy and told her that she was my friend and I was hers.
I’m a person who would go all the way to help a friend but don’t step on my ‘tail’. Unfortunately she stepped more than just my 'tail'! She was all over me. Read my entry on People in your life and she was like those that come into your life for a reason, they act up; we have to make our stand, so I just said hi and bye. With her attitude, I am not surprised she does not have best friend, much less a friend.
But that incident has never stopped me from making friends. I keep a circle of good friends and 2 best friends. One is a person who has been with me since Secondary 3 till today. We’ve been through a lot together. She is always there whenever I need her. She is someone who I really trust and care about. Nusrat, thank you for being my friend and I thank Allah for you.
Another is definitely my dearest hubby. He is my lover, my best friend, my consultant, my adviser, my teddy bear and my banker…heheh..
To all my friends… whether you are a good friends or best friends, I really appreciate your friendship. Thank you for being my friend.
