Use Mouse

 

Yesterday, I took out Ashraf Let’s Read Books and its ‘Reading Pen’ for him to practice his reading. We bought them for him last year and after using it for a few times plus dropping it umpteen times, we decided to keep it away from him for a while. I changed the Reading Pen batteries and passed it to him.

While I’m working on my PC, he was on his bed with the books. With the Reading Pen, he needs to simply point it to the words on the book and it will read for him. When he points it on the page no. the pen will read the entire page. So half way, it stopped and after switching off n on again, it was ok. Then it died again. He got so frustrated and asked me to read for him.

 

Being lazy mummy…. I was still trying to use the pen to read the book. (When we bought it, it came with a CD-Rom and we need to download all the info/datas into the pen). I started to grumble at him… “See, I told you to take good care of your things but you didn’t. You kept dropping this thing and now its spoilt.” He told me…”Use mouse”. I said there is no mouse in the package. Only a CD. This is not a computer, so no mouse.

 

Each time it died I kept grumbling at him. And he kept telling me to use mouse. In the end, I guess he got fed up with me for reprimanding him, he turned to me and pointed to my lips… I said use MOUTH!

Kakakkakakaka…He wanted me to tell him the story and not use the Pen!!!! Kuang Kuang Kuang…
