Ashraf has been sick since yesterday. Didn't get to join us to celebrate abah's birthday. This morning when we woke up, Ashfiq started to sneeze. I told them that it's such a wrong time to be sick. They were fine during sch holidays but come new year and sch re - open all starting to fall sick. 

And Ashfiq said... I think I am allergic to school. *sniff sniff

Hah... yeah right! 😠

Ashfiq woke up from his nap yesterday, went straight to his room (where I was working) and took his towel to shower. 
Ashfiq - Mama, I want to follow you..
Me - Ok...ok...(i wasnt planning of gng anywhere and want to quickly get him to the shower)
Ashfiq - Mama, I want to follow you...
Me - Ok Ashfiq.. ok... 
Ashfiq - Mama, don't ok ok me. Listen first.... I want to follow you go Airport. I want to go to Terminal 1. Ok?
Me - ~.~

The whole afternoon he was humming while doing his revision.  

Me - Ashfiq do you hum when you are doing your work in class?

AA - Yes mama.. In my heart.

Me - Ok. Can you hum in your heart now please? (Headache with his non stop humming and menceceh)

Aa - But I want you to know what's in my heart!.

19 aug 2015. Loveseat for lovers

Was opening the car door when I turned around to see Ashfiq walking towards the driver side. 
Me - excuse me... I am driving. You go sit the other side. 
Aa - I am sitting behind you. 
Me - you should sit next to me... you r not the boss ehk.
Aa - I am not but since daddy will be sitting next to you, I will sit behind you.
Me - daddy is not here. 
Aa - we are fetching him. So he will sit next to you... He is your husband. 
Me - Hmmm... 
Aa - oh and I call this front seat... The love - seat.... its for you lovers. 

What??? *slap forehead.

Was lying down with my babies when I suddenly chuckled; recalling a conversation I had this afternoon with my team.
Ashfiq - why are you laughing?
Me - nothing
Ashfiq - is it your husband? 
Me - huh? My husband? Yr daddy! Nope
Ashfiq - your customer?
Me - no
Ashfiq - your friend?
Me -yeah
Ashfiq - something funny huh? You can tell me...I am not sleepy yet...

4 july 2014 - is my savings enough?

Ashfiq - mama, I have money inside my dinosaur coin bank, some more inside my Milo coin bank and plastic containers. I think altogether I have about $400. 
Me - Alhamdulillah. That's good darling. 
Ashfiq - do you think it's enough?
Me - enough for what?
Ashfiq - enough to go Mecca?
Subhanallah...
Insyaallah... We will have enough soon to go Mecca darling.

After dinner, as usual we would talk to the kids about almost anything under the sun... Today we were talking about Ayat Khafi and then asking the kids about Instagram and twitter account.

12 marc 2012 - Fastest way home

Went for a walk with kids and hubby to Tampines central. On the way back home hubby told boys the short-cut home when the boys were getting tired. 
Ashfiq - daddy, do u know the easiest way home?
Hubby - no I don't. How? 
Ashfiq - by bus...
Ashfiq - and I know the fastest way home...
Hubby - really? How?
Ashfiq - by taxi. Can we take taxi plsssss? I am tired daddy. I am only a small kid. Plssss...
